Composing New Realities Through Photography and Collage

Original Collage

Art allows us to see the world not just as it is, but as it could be. In my work, I use photography as a starting point—a way to capture the real—and collage as a tool to bend, layer, and reimagine it. Together, these mediums let me build scenes that live somewhere between memory, dream, and design.

Each piece begins with an original photograph, often mundane or overlooked. Through cutting, layering, and visual manipulation, that image transforms—becoming part of a new narrative. The boundaries blur. What was once a still moment becomes fluid, fragmented, surreal.

This process is about more than aesthetics. It’s about questioning what we accept as “real,” and exploring how imagination can reconstruct the familiar. By merging the lens with the layered, I aim to create spaces that invite pause—worlds that feel both known and entirely new.
